I love putting together the concepts for these mini shoots. When I was brainstorming the theme for a Spring event, I knew I wanted to do something different besides the ever so popular Easter or Mommie and Me sessions (not that there is anything wrong with those but I just wanted something different). I knew I wanted two sets and decided a “Spring into Summer” theme would be a good start. I also wanted something gender neutral and when I started my pinterest search, fell in love with the pinwheel ideas. With the help of a good friend, we created the sets keeping Spring neutral with a few pops of color and Summer full of color. The kids came dressed in white for the Spring set and with the help of my “stylist” she brought the pops of colors with the coordinating accessories. The Summer set was easy to work in since clients came dressed in colorful outfits that easily matched the theme. It was a big hit and I’m so happy with the result.
