Hard to believe it’s been since September since I last posted to this blog! But for good reason as it was an insane Fall and I mean insane in the best possible way because it meant photographing and hanging out with so many of you. I always love making the annual Holiday Mini Session post because it means that I am FINALLY caught up on editing and I get a chance to reflect on the past year. 2016 was another record year and caps almost 5 years of having my studio. In that time, I have photographed 100s of newborns, babies, kiddos and families, made the career move to do this full time, and expanded the studio three times. I still find it hard to believe that I get to support my family in a job that I pour my heart and soul into. It’s hard to quantify the kind of fulfillment that brings. There are lots of exciting things in the works for 2017. Some major projects that have been a year in the making will finally come to light. Without divulging the details, I am overflowing with excitement and can’t wait to share what this next year will bring. Stay posted 😉
In the meantime, I wanted to share some images from this year’s Holiday True Mini Sessions, Home for the Holidays. A record sellout and number of sessions (over 60 in one weekend!). I feel so blessed that these are so desired, thank you. I tried to pick at least one image from each session but as you can see it was hard to narrow and this is a huge post! These were shot in the new studio and I am truly indebted to my amazing crew, who both carried me through the weekend and entertained my endless ideas for the sets. And of course thank you to all my wonderful clients who came out and made this the success it is.
So without further ado, I wish each and everyone of you a very Merry Christmas and holiday. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting my little business and allowing me to capture the most important people in your lives. <3
